Tuck Virtual Program: Trade Wars Revisited: Recovery and Renewal in Our Post-Pandemic World
In September 2019, a panel of experts from around the Tuck and Dartmouth communities gathered in London for a candid discussion of what happens when global trade policies clash. Since then, our world has changed more than we could have imagined—the pandemic hit, America elected a new president, and Brexit finally happened. Amid all this, global trade and investment flows collapsed and then rebounded sharply. What is the prospect for international trade and investment in the post-pandemic Europe, Middle East, and Africa region? Moderated by Tuck Dean Matthew Slaughter, this special follow-up to the 2019 panel will explore this question and all the changes beneath it with EMEA-based experts in trade, investment, and public policy.
